This little set is so perfect that I bought two! I had been eyeing this at our local toy store, but the cost seemed quite high for what it is. I contined to "look around," and always came back to this set. I finally purchased it,and put it to use for the first time. I was amazed at how well our little 15 month old grandson did with it. The spoons fit his chubby little hands perfectly, and the design of the plate make scooping a breeze especially for things like applesause and other thick pureed food, junior baby food, etc. Food that will stick to the spoon and scoop easily are perfect starter foods for this set. We have not moved on to more challenging foods yet, until he learns how to hold the spoon correctly all the way to his mouth. He feels like such a big boy using this set! Once I saw how well he did with it, I purchased another set online for him to have at home. That's how great I think it is. I was hesitant to buy one, and ended up buying two. I am not a consumer who is easly sold by gadgets and gizmos, but this product is great!

The BABYBJ?RN Plate and Spoon make it easy for children to eat by themselves. The three-leaf clover shape of the plate helps the child scoop up food onto the spoon. The spoon is compatible with the plate’s shape and works using either the right or left hand. The BABYBJ?RN Plate has a smart rubber base that keeps it from sliding on the table. The outer rim is shaped to make it harder for small hands to grab the plate and throw it away.
